This is a private reference resource, not a government office. It cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, verify a release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. For those matters, contact the relevant public office or record custodian directly.
Official Custody and Records Contacts
Dillon County does not have a verified public web roster or recent-booking feed. The contacts below are the documented paths for local custody routing, records requests, and court follow-through. A contact line does not promise that staff can provide every detail by telephone, and a record can be subject to lawful redaction.
- For covered adult current status or notifications, begin with SC VINE.
- For a county booking report or booking photograph, use the Clerk to Council records-request route.
- For a case’s actions and disposition, use the Dillon Public Index and the court contact.
- For a current state-prison sentence, use the SCDC inmate search rather than the county booking route.
- For federal or covered immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator that matches that separate system.

The Sheriff association lists Records as Angie Thompson, but no separate public records telephone number or email is published. For a county booking report or booking photograph, use the Dillon County FOIA request form or a similarly specific written request. Identify the booking report and photograph separately, and include the name, approximate booking date, and any known booking or case number. The local form lists 50 cents per page and actual research or preparation cost; no flat booking-photo price was located.
For an adult status question covered by the state program, use SC VINE or the VINElink portal. It lists Dillon County Detention Center and provides covered adult status and notifications, but it is not a public photo source, a chronological arrest list, or an archive. It does not track people who are out on bond and does not display juveniles.
For case progress or the result after booking, use the official Dillon Public Index. The Clerk of Court is reached at P.O. Box 1220, Dillon, SC 29536-1220, phone 843-774-1425, email dccoc@dilloncountysc.org. The Magistrate and Bond Court is at 1033 Old Latta Highway, Suite B, Dillon, SC 29536, phone 843-774-1406. A court record follows the case, which can remain open after a person leaves county custody.
Use the state, federal, and immigration sources only when their separate custody systems fit the situation. The South Carolina Department of Corrections inmate search covers people currently sentenced to and incarcerated in SCDC, not a fresh Dillon booking. The BOP Inmate Locator is for federal custody, while the ICE Online Detainee Locator System is for its covered immigration-custody records. Neither replaces the Dillon County record route.
Note: Arrest and booking information describes an allegation or custody event, so use the court disposition rather than a booking entry alone for the procedural outcome.
